PRIVATE LESSONS
VOICE, PIANO, GUITAR
Private lessions are 30 minutes long for beginning students or 60 minutes for advanced, once weekly, for a total of four lessons a month.
Private lessons include instruction in the main discipline (voice, piano, guitar) complimented with music theory, sight singing and reading, ear training and dictation, performance and audition techniques, and music technology and recording. These subjects are introduced progressively, according to the level, development and need of each student.
Multiple languages are strongly encouraged, while learning and pronounciation are facilitated by comparative learning and understanding and the integration of the International Phonetic Alphabet.
Students are trained as solo performers but are also taught to integrate in an ensemble scenario, a vital skill for any performer. As the student progresses and when considered appropriate by the instructor, a recording project per session will be assigned to the student.
Students are prepared to participate in auditions and performances available in the area. Audition and casting notices are forwarded to studio members when received and information regarding ongoing and professional opportunities is made available through the eStudio.
As students continue to advance, introduction to the business aspects of music and entertainment is provided along with the core subjects.
