"As a recent addition to The Ugarte Studio, I was quickly accepted into this new community. I had never taken lessons before, but now I regret that I had not discovered The Ugarte Studio sooner. I found this new environment to be extremely encouraging, singing songs I never thought my vocal range could handle and vastly improving through the exercises. I have been taking music lessons since I was four, and I never actually felt like I was improving during my lessons until I started taking from The Ugarte Studio. I grew to love the realness of the studio – the feeling that feedback would always be concise and constructive. Because of the support and guidance of The Ugarte Studio, I now have a new-found confidence in singing."

"We have been truly impressed with the voice instruction provided by Pia Ugarte. The knowledge that she possesses about how the body functions has been very beneficial in learning how to get the best sound while singing. We would recommend her for anyone who would like to improve the sound and quality of their voice."

"Every time my daughter leaves her voice and piano lesson, she is smiling and so complementary of her teacher (Ms Ugarte.) She is always eagger to share what she has learned and I always hear comments like 'Wow, Ms. Pia's suggestions really work!' Not only is my daughter learning to develop her talents but she is also learning an appreciation for the arts. This appreciation is not being learned just through books, but through Ms. Ugarte's passion and the example that she sets. I am so happy that my daughter has found a passion and that Ms. Ugarte has taken an interest in her development as well."

"Pia Ugarte is truly a professional! She knows exactly how to get the best out of each individual student. Pia takes it to the next level with the performances she produces and everyone is proud to be a part of it. I highly recommend Pia and The Ugarte Studio for anyone wanting to improve their vocal skills."

and Arnall Talent Competition and featured soloist at Arnall)
"Mrs. Pia Ugarte is the most excellent teacher I ever had. She teaches music skills such as practice something, then leave it for a couple of hours, then come back to the piece and review it again. This method has really changed my way of playing music. With Mrs. Pia Ugarte, she gives me her experience by talking about it relating to the music. She has lots of experience with music and she loves teaching it! She also teaches voice and she loves teaching kids! Last year, she put on a special performance for Christmas that had beautiful decorations! I can't wait for the next season! I recommend choosing Mrs. Pia Ugarte as your music teacher since she is a spectacular teacher!"
