ELLEN is a lyric soprano from Peachtree City, Georgia and currently resides in Chattanooga, Tennesee. Having begun taking voice lessons in her early teens, she has engaged in an exciting musical career since that time.

    She joined The Ugarte Studio upon her graduation at Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance.  A couple of years after, she returned to LSU and obtained a Master's Degree in Mass Communication.

    Ellen has performed major roles such as Anne Egerman in A Little Night Music, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Lucy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Nancy in Oliver!. She also performed in Tosca as the cover for the Shepherd Boy with New York Grand Opera. She has performed as soloist for numerous masses, including: Requiem in F minor (Bieber),  Requiem (Fauré), Missa Brevis (Haydn), and Mass in G (Schubert).

     Throughout her collegiate career, Ellen was a member of the nationally known LSU A Cappella Choir under the direction of Dr. Kenneth Fulton. She toured with the choir and performed as a soloist on several occasions. At LSU, Ellen received the Golden Oaks Scholarship.

    One of Ellen's favorite things to do is sing at weddings, which she has done since 2009. She has also been a music consultant for these events since 2013. Additionally, she enjoys vounteering at local productions and helping with choreography and music direction. She is also very involved with her church and was the Director of Music for Evening Services for a year before moving to Tennessee.

     Ellen's repertoire includes classical art songs, opera, oratorio, musical theater, lieder, wedding songs, Holiday and sacred material in English, German, Italian, French and Spanish.

     She is available for performances, weddings and events in Tennessee and Georgia and, upon request, in other locations.​
